Description:

Only four miles south of Safford, this 240-acre park offers fishing, swimming, picknicking, boating, camping and a natural hot spring. Next to the park’s Dankworth Pond lies Dankworth Village, a re-created archaeological site featuring structures made by the area’s ancient inhabitants.

Hours of Operation:

Open daily 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Admission Details:

$5 per vehicle (1-4 occupants); $2 per individual or extra passenger exceeding four; $3 per vehicle Memorial Day - Labor Day
